About Us

Proba Partners is a small independent practice founded by two people: Anna and Robert.

Robert's background is in civil engineering, trained at Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania, with further training in applied arts, followed by more than 35 years in renovation, the last 25 of them based in London. Anna spent more than a decade in the City of London, working in the derivatives market across operations and client services, before training in interior and furniture design at KLC School of Design in London. Together, we worked on renovation projects across London for many years before turning our attention to the Côte d'Azur.

The combination matters more than either background alone. Robert is the one who spots a structural issue before it becomes an expensive one, or notices when a contractor has used a cheaper material than what was agreed. Anna is the one who spots when a specification has drifted from what a project actually needs, or when a number doesn't add up to what it should. Together, we look at a property from both sides: how it needs to work, and what it should cost.

Before we were based here ourselves, we worked with British clients who already owned property on the Côte d'Azur — visiting sites, liaising with contractors, and, more than once, doing the work ourselves. Proba Partners exists to offer that same judgement more widely: independently, and paid only by the person we advise.
