Who we are

Proba Partners Ltd ("Proba Partners", "we", "us") is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 15347402, registered office 61 Amhurst Road, London, England, E8 1LL. We provide independent property advisory and project consultancy services, primarily in relation to properties on the Côte d'Azur.

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Because we advise on properties in France and work with clients based in the EU as well as the UK and elsewhere, we aim to meet both the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, and this policy is written with both in mind.

What personal data we collect

We keep this deliberately limited. Our website does not use cookies, tracking, or contact forms. We collect personal data only when you get in touch directly:

• Contact details you give us when you email us or book a consultation: your name, email address, and phone number if you'd like us to call you.

• Correspondence, and, if you become a client, property or project information you share with us — such as property address, purchase or renovation details, quotes and budgets — in order for us to provide advice.

We do not knowingly collect payment card details or special category data (such as health data), and we ask that you don't include this in correspondence with us unless we specifically request it.

How we use your data, and on what basis

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. The only third party involved is Google, which we use to schedule and host video calls (Google Calendar and Google Meet); your name and email are shared with Google for this purpose when you book a call. Beyond this, we do not share your data with service providers, and we do not share it with estate agents, contractors, or other parties involved in a transaction unless you've explicitly asked us to — consistent with our independence from those parties.

International transfers

Google may process booking and call data outside the UK and EU, including in the United States. Where this happens, Google's own safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) apply; we don't control this beyond selecting Google as our booking tool.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve any disputes, after which we delete it. Contact details from enquiries that don't turn into client relationships are generally kept for a shorter period.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.

• Ask us to correct inaccurate data.

• Ask us to delete your data, in certain circumstances.

• Restrict or object to our processing.

• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
